The technical team has identified vandalism to critical infrastructure as the cause of the current service disruption. The team is still on site and restoration efforts have commenced. To fully restore services, the team will need to install a new dome and splice all 144 fibre connections. This is a complex and labour-intensive process that requires careful handling to ensure the integrity and stability of the network.
